Mel is a facilitator, consultant and coach for TDP. During her time at TDP Mel has been heavily involved in a large culture transformation programme with a national logistics company. She has held dual roles as coach and facilitator on key transformational leadership programmes, such as a leading Local Authority in Central London and for the Prison Service.
Mel has been in the ‘people development’ arena for 25 years, starting in Human Resources for a large automotive company before taking several HR and Learning & Development International Business Partner roles in global financial services. Moving into Learning & Development, Mel specialised in the areas of employee engagement, leadership, and team effectiveness. Since 2004 she has been fortunate to work with many dynamic private sector organisations in telecoms, shipping, IT, financial services, plus public sectors bodies in Europe and the UK, coaching, consulting and facilitating transformational programmes.
Mel is qualified in level A & B psychometric testing and works with clients to help build self-awareness and targeted development plans. She is qualified in MBTI, WAVE, FIRO-B and Emotional Intelligence. In addition, Mel is an NLP Master Practitioner and uses PRISM, a neuroscience-based tool, to build client insight and focus.
Mel’s interest is in helping leaders and key contributors to understand the impact and influence they have on other colleagues and organisational success. She works with them leverage their strengths, build accountability and action to drive positive outcomes.
Mel lives in Beverley, East Yorkshire, with her husband and two daughters. She loves entertaining and socialising, writing, going to the gym and comedy.
